Q: How do you create your artwork?

A: Sarah uses acrylic and high quality art resin on wood and alternates between pouring and painting. She has spent years developing techniques unique to her style and sourcing the best materials and resin to ensure that all original paintings and resin prints will not yellow or become cloudy over time. 

Her advice to new creatives is to "play with different mediums to see what connects with you, have fun with it, don't let fear hold you back from living out your dreams, and be unique to yourself!" Read more about her creative journey and check out her creative process on Instagram.

Q: The painting I just loved sold out. Will you do more?

A: Sarah is always creating new paintings! Make sure to sign up for her email list so you don't miss out on her next release of original paintings. You can also check out her work at galleries and upcoming shows listed here.

Q: Can I commission a painting with you?

A: If you have a certain style, colors, or inspiration in mind, Sarah is happy to accept commissions for yourself or loved ones. Please reach out and include the size, colors, and special requests you want included in your painting. Keep in mind, commissions book up months in advance!

Q: The painting I'm interested in isn't framed, but I would like to have it framed. Is that possible?

A: At this time, Sarah is no longer offering custom framing. However, she does recommend working with your local frame shop to ensure that your painting is professionally framed to your liking.

Q: How do I care for my original painting?

A: The best way to keep that glossy shine bright and beautiful on your original resin artwork is to refrain from touching it! Even though resin is a relatively durable, scratch resistant media, handle and transport the painting with care. Do not lean anything against the front of the painting or use any sharp objects to clean the surface.

If the painting does get dirty, Sarah created a resin cleaning kit that includes a non-toxic cleaner and microfiber cloth that you can check out here. Just be careful not to scrape where her signature is!

Q: How do I care for my print?

A: The best way to keep your print in good condition is to frame it. Because all prints are standard sizes, they should be able to fit in most frames you can find at a local retail store like Target or IKEA. However, working with a local frame shop is the best way to ensure your print is framed to your liking.

Q: I love your prints, but I'm interested in a custom size. Can you have one printed for me?

A: Yes, please contact us with the size you are interested in and we will send you a quote. We can also have any of Sarah's paintings printed as a high quality acrylic print with the option to add a floater frame!

Q: Can I find your art outside of Hawaii?

A: Yes! You can now find Sarah Caudle Art in Japan at MMJ Maunaloa.

Q: Can I visit your studio?

A: If you are interested in touring Sarah's art studio, please contact us to schedule a day and time. Please keep in mind, she is very busy painting and may not be able to accommodate last minute requests. You can see more behind the scenes of her studio on Instagram.

Q: How can our company carry your art or work with you on a collaboration?

A: We would love to hear more! Please feel free to reach out.

Shipping

Q: What carrier do you use for shipping?

A: For all prints and smaller original paintings, we ship using USPS Priority Mail. For larger originals, we ship using FedEx. Please note: shipping for international orders may vary and you are responsible for extra taxes and duties upon delivery. 

Q: How long does it take to receive my order?

A: Please allow up to a week for processing your order and 3-5 days for shipping to the mainland United States. International orders can take 3-4 weeks for delivery and even longer if it gets held up in customs, so please make sure to double check that your shipping address is correct.

Q: Do you offer local discounts on shipping?

A: If you are local in Hawai'i, we will ship to you for FREE! Use code KAMAAINA at check-out to remove shipping costs.

Q: Can I pick up from your studio?

A: Of course! If you prefer to pick-up your painting at Sarah's studio, use code PICKUP to take off shipping costs and please reach out to schedule a time.

Q: Do you ship international?

A: Yes, we ship world-wide! You can order directly through our website, but for larger originals (over 12" x 12") please contact us for a shipping quote and additional shipping charges may apply. We ship using USPS Priority Mail International because it includes insurance and tracking. If you prefer to use a different shipping company or you want to upgrade and expedite your order, please contact us for a quote. *Please note: There may be shipping restrictions on your country and you are responsible for extra taxes and duties upon delivery.
